Citizen Connectivity
Reporting and communication for emergencies, road-side assistance and natural disasters
smartpolis Features
Organize, manage, and process citizen service requests with digital mangement
Smartpolis has developed a feature within its citizen apps that allows users to report a personal emergency or an emergency in their area. These types of emergencies include road assistance, natural disasters, damage, and general emergency help. Citizens are able to download the app to their smartphone so they can request or report help at any time. Since citizens signing-up for the app are required to provide some personal information and enable location-based services, all relevant contact information and their real-time location is accessible by emergency responders.
Once emergency responders are deployed, citizens can also see where responders are and an estimated time of arrival. All requests and reports are processed by an emergency centre, which has the capability to send out alerts via SMS once an emergency has been verified. This SMS is sent to all citizens in an affected area, to warn and prepare them for an upcoming emergency. Through technology and communication, Smartpolis aims to change how emergencies are reported and handled.
Smartpolis provides users with many features to help with emergency response
