Smartpolis has developed a voluntary app feature to assist and organize proper social distancing procedures for citizens, businesses and municipalities. Citizens can use the app to compare their symptoms to those of a novel virus, and are able to proactively report any symptoms to their employers/departments, co-workers, friends and family. This allows the individual and those around them to maintain a heightened level of precaution and distancing in the event they must attend work or perform essential tasks.
Once an individual has a confirmed case, Smartpolis can notify anyone who has been in close contact to the individual, or emergency contacts (family, friends). Smartpolis also uses its Hermes-A technology to track the spread of the virus so that proper testing can be carried out more efficiently and virus hot-spots can be avoided. Through technology and cooperation, Smartpolis aims to reduce the spread a novel viruses while protecting co-workers, family and friends.
